Hi Guys, just thought I'd share my new amp. I tried to buy a Mission 32-20 sent a few emails but never got a reply back. I really liked the Mission size & having 32 plus watts with cathode/fixed bias switch cutting watts down to about 20. So I ended up with a hand built tube amp that weighs about 45lbs aprx 2' wide 20" tall with 2 10" speakers 1 is Alinco hemp cone one is ceramic both Weber speakers probably about 40 watts with bias switching like the Mission. The circuit is based on the Fender Bassman tweed and has an Ampeg style transformer and has a gain staging via a 3 position switch next to volume control. The amp kicks butt I was using a fender Princeton Reverb clone which was great but sometimes I needed more volume. So now I have an amp that sounds great at lower volumes but can deliver the goods when needed. It really cuts through the mix with the 2 10's. Anyway if your looking for something small with some ball's it's a great way to go. I'd post a pic but don't know how to that here. I have no relation to Tone Tron I just wanted to let ya all know there is another way to get a purpose built Harp amp.
