I appreciate when vendors package a bunch of harps in different keys and sell them at a good discount. These sales seem to be in the most common keys - A, C, D, etc. That makes sense: the most in-demand keys and the ones (I presume) manufactured the most.

Has anyone seen this kind of discounting on a package other than the most common keys? It would be nice to buy some of the less common keys in a package deal.

Rockin' Ron often has some good deals in the sale list on buying two harps or sometimes more than two in which you choose the keys, but not more than one of the same key.

Edit: No affiliation beyond being a customer.

Agree that’s where I’ve most often seen discounts on uncommon keys.
Be aware uncommon keys on special are often old stock. It’s possible to get some real dudharps in special price deals

I haven't seen many package deals but whenever anyone has a closeout on a model it's pretty common that their leftover harps are in the oddball keys.

I have 100’s of new harmonicas in stock that I keep on hand for the purpose of building custom harps. I am not generally in the business of selling stock harmonicas. I choose not to compete with the myriad of online retailers - including our good friend Rockin’ Ron. I am both a Hohner and a Suzuki Dealer, so I purchase mostly new Special 20s, Marine Bands and Golden Melodys from Hohner and Manjis, Olives and SUB-30s from Suzuki. But “deals” also come to me via other sources and I often take advantage of opportunities to purchase bundles of items that frequently include a lot of miscellaneous harps. Bottom line, I have a lot of stuff that is kinda sorta gathering dust. Much of it is what Tom585 is referring to as “less common harp keys”. If any of you are interested in picking up a couple of these keys, let me know what you are looking for. I might be able to help you. I am not talking about $150 Custom Harps. I am talking about stock harps – with no Harp Tech Reedsmithing done to them – at discount prices. It would be a good way for me to kill two birds with one stone – clean out some inventory that isn’t doing me much good and helping out a fellow forum member.
