Hey! We are excited to announce the return of one of the greatest harmonica events to ever happen in the US. In Waterford Mississippi, at the Foxfire Ranch, we will meet from 5-17 through 5-20 for classes, jams, discussion, a 4 night concert series and so much more. Join over 100 other harp players and some of the best harp influences out there for an intensive weekend of harmonica enlightenment. This event is being reanimated with the help of Midwest Harmonica Workshop organizer Sean Wailin O'Phelan and promises to be the best and least expensive event of the year. We have camping available onsite ($45 for 4 nights), and great home cooked southern soul food and drinks available for purchase for each meal throughout the weekend. We are working with some great sponsors including Lee Oskar, BlowsMeAway, Lone Wolf Pedals, and we are picking up several more over the next few weeks. We will have The Miklas family at the event to offer vending of harmonica related gear and we will hope to add several other vendors. We have some very special guest coming to be a part of it all including Andrew Zajac with more to be added. Our instructors are, get ready...

This is 4+ nights of fun in North Mississippi and is designed for anyone who has an interest in learning to play or improving on their blues harp skills. Family is welcome at additional fee, and we encourage you to bring your friends as well. Stay for the instruction or just join us for the nightly concerts (Seperate Fee). We have a forum and we are also on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, and we also have a few newsletters coming out over the next 2 months. Join us, register, subscribe to the website and get those harps ready for the time of your life. Register soon as we are half way to our capacity and we want everyone to be there!! Check out the legacy information at www.hillcountryharmonica.com and get more info on the event in MAY at www.midwestharmonica.net/hillcountryharmonica2018

I kind of knew Rick Estrin would not make it-not that he would have swayed me-but I might have changed some of my previous plans-

Maybe next year! We are already building the 2019 team. If your plans change, come on out, we will be there!

I'm hoping the stars align, but Mississippi is a long way from Upstate, New York. I've got to find some local harp players with better cars for road trips.

Tryyyyin...and so far holding back the tide of other things. Like Nate, some harp players to ease the travel would help. I'm in the panhandle of Florida.
