Hey Folks,A question in ref. to viewing You Tube videos.When trying to view videos I,m getting a message video restricted,must be approved for viewing.Would anyone know what I must do to allow me to view the You Tube video,s.I,m not that computer literate and need some help on this if anyone knows what I have to do to unlock this.Thanks for your help.HAGD,NC

It depends on where you live. I am in Canada and there are many I can't watch either. It's something to do with copyright's or something like that, I don't think it's from anything your doing.

Basically you need to hack the system. I haven't played with it myself. Google "How to view region restricted videos" and you should find some info. There are apps that do it. Basically, like Bass410man says it's got to do with copyright protection, so bypassing it you are breaking the rules, but I don't think they'll come after you for it! :)

NiteCrawler. are you trying to watch videos which have been served up to you via a YouTube search?
Maybe you are trying to view videos which have restricted viewing because they are part of a paid-for web tutorial?
Where are you located?

@ tooka,I,m talking about you-vids in general.Even on MBH I,ll try watching a series of videos on a single post and I,ll get 1 out of five.Sometimes I,ll get to watch it one time and the next time it will come up restricted.A yr. ago I did,nt have a problem at all with this but things(you tube)has gotten stingy since.The only tutorial videos that restrict me sometimes are info. on task like working on household equip.,autos etc..Not all but some will do this.Thanks for your input guys,NC N.J.

Nitecrawler, could you put a couple links to videos you can't view in? That would help us troubleshoot.

@nacoran,the links that I had trouble viewing were the Juzzie Smith video and 4 of the 5 videos that tmf714 posted on the Mark Hummel,s Blowout.That was days ago.Oddly enough(in a good way) this morning I was able to view all of them.Thats really weird eh?I always either view them in the morning before going to work or after work upon my return,9 to 6 est. Could it have something to do with internet traffic at those particular times?Who knows but I guess I,ll take it when I can get it.Thanks Again Guys,NC
