@Goldbrick -- I agree with you 100% because you hit the nail on the head. Every time I have been involved with a band or seen a band and the time gets messed up in a REAL GIG (open jams, unless you're part of the house band is NOT a real gig), they immediately lose the crowd EVERY single time.

This reminds me of something my trombone instructor told me, "If you play the wrong note at the right time, no one will notice, but if you play the right note at the wrong time, they will hate you, well, maybe not hate you, but they will certainly ignore you."
