Hi guys. An old friend said he's been getting fake emails from me. I usually talk to him by FB, so it seems strange he was being contacted by me by email. I think it's more likely he clicked something that gave access to his friend list and then generated emails from people with names from that list (he had already deleted the email, so he's not sure what email 'I' sent from. (or they could have accessed my friend's list, but then it would have had to have access to both my friend list and his email, two breeches, so that's the less likely option.)

I just wanted to give people a heads up though. If you get anything from me let me know, and let me know what email addy it's from. I'll change my password just in case. I usually use the membership email for anything related to the site that goes out to the membership, so it's unlikely even if I did get hacked that it would send out to you guys, but I figure no stone unturned...

my flickr account was hacked, fkickr is a yahoo account
as we know from the news over 1 billion accounts were hacked.
and that is just this month, they had rthe same issue just a fwe months ago.

what the hackers did to my account was to change my user name and password.

yaboo sent me a email to tell me account was hacked, but i am not able to access my account to even read the email.

when you contact them to resolve the issue, their solution is just change your password. which is impossible as it is now no longer my account, as they also changed the user name .

yahoo is up for sale with verizon tending an offer of 4 billion dollars.
they would be foolish to ever think about it that price

it is very likely that it was a yahoo account that hillery clinton used for her personal emails.
as it is all over the news that she was indeed hacked.

i have switched to photo bucket, it has it seems they have a whole heck of a lot more advertisements, and send more spam than flickr did.

not sure if my account is any more secure there. i just wonder how long until all of our banking
accounts get hacked. it is likely we all have our heads in the sand, and one day we will wake up to
a brand new day, and a new world order.

Oh come on. Hacked, really, do you have any proof (other than statements from the country's top intelligence agencies)?

We entered the "Zero Days" years ago gents, welcome to the wild west of internet tampering and retaliation. With the means to disrupt a PLC (programmable line controller) just the beginning, but a vey frightening beginning, I fear the worst is yet to come, worse even than our most recent U.S elections controversies.
