He is quite entertaining. I would call him a busker, and not a panhandler though. His use of the looper really adds to the performance. Do you know where this is? It does not look like the US. The audience looks appreciative. I get the impression that busking is more appreciated and less associated with panhandling outside the US.
If you check out the video you'll see he's a Lee Oskar user and at 54 seconds in you'll see that at his feet he's got a whole load of Lee Oskar green harp boxes which are the minor tuned harps. In just the one frame at 2:39 I counted 6 green Lee Oskar boxes so he seems to be more keen on European style music. Why do think it's too fast? It's not my cup of tea, no way am I off to rush out and buy some minor key harps. It's got something though, then again I wouldn't be looking to buy the CD anytime soon!
That's great. Thank you 1847 for sharing that. That man is too talented to be a panhandler. Sounds like a pro to me. He's playing a minor scale like Gypsy or Eastern European music. Whatever it is, he's good.
I would call this fellow a Master Harper. I really enjoyed it. I also enjoy using the minor key LO's on the rare occasion that my smooth jazz guys get together and play.
