@Heathen,

I don't know. I only know this is a duo called Hapa. I could guess. It may be a guy named Tony Ho, or it could even be Bonnie Raitts brother ( don't know his name), or my friend Larry Spalding (brother of Dale Spalding). I mentioned those three guys because they are the only cats i'm aware of w/ the proficiency to pull off smooth high notes ala Jimmy Reed/Slim Harpo. Sorry, I'm not much help.

Thanks anyway Mark. The song turned up on an Israel Kamakawiwo'ole Youtube mix I was listening to today and being island music I thought it might be you or a friend of yours.

And so it is. Thanks Sydeman.

Very nice. So subtle and so right.

Heathen,
Mahalo to sydeman for the answer. It IS my pal Larry Spalding. Larry has a great handle on position playing. He does the first 6 positions w/ ease. Often, I find it difficult to tell what position he is playing in because he plays sooooo smooth. He plays a lot w/ Hawaiian musicians like Ledward Kaapana etc.
