This guy should be a star. One of my favorite performances this year so far. Serious triple threat on harp, vocals, and rhythm:

He's good. Arrangement-wise I'd like to see him with a loop pedal in the mix. As good as his vocals were I would have liked to have heard some instruments under it at least part of the time to fill out the sound.

I don't say that as a hard and fast rule, but on this particular song I think it would have worked well. And that's only if he's not playing with other muscians.

Still, he's really good.

He is good. Singing was fantastic. So was the playing. But i would not exactly call that beat box. Would you?

He calls it beatbox, by which he means that he's keeping the beat with his voice. (My wife watched it assuming that he was playing a kick-drum off camera and was surprised when I told her he was doing it with his voice.) So sure, I'd call it beatbox. It certainly falls within the spectrum of what people mean by that.

Agreed about the Charlie Sayles similarity.
