I reckon it's a pisstake..the way he emphasizes the 'genuine' shows that he knows the shock value of dipping one into water. He should of at least used a good single Malt.
Killa, once I thought I was going to be clever- I don't remember if it was an axe or a sledge hammer, but we had some large heavy tool with a cracked handle. Whoever had replaced the handle the time before had done something weird. We couldn't get the old handle off. I think there was glue down in there and bits of it just wouldn't come out.
I thought I was being clever when I through the whole thing in the fire. Cleaned out the remainder of the handle. Fortunately, I think, before we replaced the handle someone reminded me about how important it was to the strength of the metal that it was tempered correctly. We decided without being experts in tempering we probably shouldn't try to use the head again. It might result in nasty explosion.*
ok..... obviously i am not going to soak a custom, handmade precision harmonica. just having a little fun. anyone thinking of trying one of these harps,i can highly recommend it. well worth the money.
killa, there were two riffs i played, the first was reminiscent of quarter to twelve i have been listening to lester butler lately. the 2 nd riff was the beginning to telephone blues.
Ahh. Yea. I was talking about the first lick. But i dig the second one too. At that point i was too focused on the J Spiers and the Tomatoe Sauce Jar of Water. Could almost hear the climactic music in my head. ----------
