An old live recording. You can hear this is Philly style blues. The track reminds me of the Sigma Sound recordings of David Bowie. I walk past the old Sigma at least once a week.

Good version

@ shakeylee

As an expat Philadelphia guy ( Overbrook high class of 69) and long suffering sports fan. I hope Philly timing is better than Eagles game clock management.

we just have different rhythm here. that's what makes our blues,or music in general, different ,than, say, new york's.

i am quite sure you know more about the eagles than i do :)

Well i have been outta there a while - I was involved in the music scene but less playing and more promotion, production and radio work. Mostly r n b and reggae-dont know how old you are but I did stuff with Sonny the Horse, Georgie Woods and jerry blavat to name a few.

My dad did sound work for Dick Clark when he still worked out of the studio near the old Arena on market St.

But i find the food and the sports are about the only things I miss.

Its funny how things work out. I didnt start playing harp til years after I moved to Miami and didnt realize that my brothers buddy Steve was a harmonica master- Steve Guyger
