From my recently launched musical blog "Aurion Codex" comes a little study in Arab-jazz solo harmonica: Authenteo.

C harp, key of Fm, being in 12th position.

The English word "authentic" comes from the biblical Greek authenteo; meaning "one who with his own hands kills another or himself", or, "to exercise dominion over one".

Three hundred years before Christ "authenteo" was used to denote a murderer.

EDIT: The forum doesn't support Greek alphabet :)

If you record it(on vinyl)..., you can put "Don't Bogart that Hookah" on the B-side.

I like it:)

"I’m composing new music especially for the harmonica, an instrument once considered small."

It is small unless you play one of these

Thanks guys! I'll be posting more harp tracks on my aural manuscript in the future. Here's the feed this far in case you're interested.

@Thievin': That's actually a good title! I'll keep that in mind :D
