Playing whit this software, I bet that if you spend enough time messing whit the knobs (an mic options) you can get a good tone out of this. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.
Back in the day when i was learning another language i used to like people correcting my spelling and/or pronunciation ...hope you are the same ;-) It's with ,not whit. Cool sounds on that app.

thxs indigo! I corrected in YT, but I cant do it in the title of this page.
One more thing regarding Amplitube, yesterday I was playing whit the funky effects, and the octave pedal works good whith a diatonic, and work great whith a chromatic. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.
What kind of mic do you have? Do you plug it directly into your PC using an adapter or run it through other software previously? What kind of speakers do you have? Are you using any of the options from the "Stomp" and "Rack" tabs?
It's a nice sound. I've been messing with Amplitube and can get a decent one, but that's about it.
Shure 707A 99c86 w/ transformer, into a behringer um2 audio interface, and then into Reaper (DAW).
I use just the amp sim in reaper, not the pedals.
You are not going to get a good sound whit computer speakers in your room, because they are not guitar amp speaker. You can practice whit amplitube whit headphones, or you can record ideas or improvs. Is a very usefull tool I think, you can experiment a lot whit knbos and pedals. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.
-Rogon: thanks for your reply. Indeed, I thought that you had quite a setting for it to sound this way. As you say, it's good for experimenting and recording but I guess that's about it unless you're gonna make some investment, in which case I would rather make it in a good, real amp.
I have Vocalive from the same company on iPod/iphone and use it with harmonica. I use the dynamic analog mic from ik multimedia or just the built in internal mic. Works great; lots of fun!
I've used Amplitube in the past and found it great. Currently I use Guitar Rig + G3 in different combinations.
You do not need a "real" amp to record. That's a nice to have, not a need to have - especially if you are into tonal tweaking beyond the traditional chicago blues harp sound.
