Direct sellers from Japan are taking advantage of the customer, seducing them with low prices, not informing them that there is no domestic support.
Buy US, one year warranty.

1847, that's the way to do it!
I've had Guitar Center price match (a couple other places too). The problem locally for me is that they only carry Hohner (and older stock, but not old enough to be good) and Lee Oskar, usually only the major keys. I've tried to sell the local guitar shop on getting Seydels but the one time I happened to have one on me to play for them it jammed. (To be fair, it was a LLF that had been sitting in my pocket all day- totally my fault).

a while back amazon had a sale on the crossover in A..... $37.99
i ended up with maybe 15 harps in 10 different keys
the price was below cost, so i had to pay 2 dollars more plus tax
still a pretty good deal. you do have to use a little ingenuity.
