At my regular gig last night a young guy came up to me late on the evening and said you are 'sick'

What am I to make of that? I don't mean to be disengenous, that is a compliment I am told, but am feeling old...:00)

Awesome. Faboo. The cat's meow. The cat's pajamas. Cool. Bad (in the good way).

I started playing at a new (for me) jazz jam a few weeks. I was a little intimidated, because I'm not a jazz guy by any means, and the house band was really good. But they all liked my playing a lot, which kind of astonishes me. During the course of the night, I heard "I have to commend you. Y'all was good", "Let's hear it for the harmonica player. That boy bad!", and "That was some wicked harmonica". Not a bad start.

But my favorite comment came after I sat in with a friend's band a while back. I played a few tunes with their regular harp player, and afterwards the bass player came up and said "Y'all some harmonica playin' motherf*ckers!". I'll take that.

A singer friend of mine was doing a gig in the rough part of town and a big guy came up and said 'do you do requests'?
"yes' replied...'well f**k off then' the guy said, whoa..
