I think it is repeated or extreme exposure to loud noises that causes it, and that's the key to how to avoid it. Too late for me though. The crickets and I will stay tuned for the treatment if there ever is one.

I was going to post a picture of that mouse with the human ear on its back and suggest a cure by transplant, but that thing just gives me the willies.

Mine is "hear" to stay! I did go through over 20 years of Cluster Migraine Headaches. My doctor said that valium might help, but probably won't do much for my alcoholism!!! Oh well..... Maybe playin the washboard I just bought will help change the rhythm of those dog gone birds anyway!
