This 20 year old kid asked me to busk with him a set at RnR. We did the same four songs for about 70 minutes. lol...but it was always a different crowd.

I tried to change what I did up with different styles each time. I had fun and made $32 so what the heck.

I know I don't sound ANYTHING like him and am a million miles from his playing, but just curious if you can tell whose style influenced my playing here?

You guys should google Bristol Rhythm n Roots. It's a three day festival every year in September. They block off State Street which is the TA/VA state line. Both sides of the road have large outdoor music areas, twenty or so bars/restaurants that have live music going on, larger venues, and busking. Well over 100 paid acts performing!

$32 in just over an hour. Not bad. Career change perhaps?

I see you having definitely earned your dough. Very good, high energy, lucky to have a good crowd that was engaged. Getting attention the then holding it is key. We busk when we can and always have a great time, sometimes the $$ is light but the love is almost always there coming back at us!
Today a sweet little gal about 75 wheeled her little shopping cart by and gave us a thumbs-up. Worth more than some green. Kids get transfixed by live music especially high energy. They are the next carriers of the light.

You done good sir!

Well done harpdude.

I'm a strong believer in preaching blues directly to the people on the street.

It does get addictive though.
