The Blues Doctors have just returned from a swing through OK, NM, AZ, TX, and LA. 3700 miles, five gigs, no disasters--except for Alan's amp crapping out near the beginning of the second gig, which led us to borrow an amp at that gig and each subsequent gig. (Bring spare power tube next time.)
Next week we'll be back out on the road, with gigs in WV, SC, PA, and NY. Just added a showcase gig in NYC. We'll hope to see a few of you when we're out there.
7/23/15: Beckley, WV - Calacino's Pizzeria (Blues Doctors, 8PM)
7/24/15: Gaffney, SC - Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ (Blues Doctors, 7-10 PM)
7/25/15: Harrisburg, PA - River City Blues Club (Blues Doctors, 9 PM)
7/29/15: Piermont, NY - Turning Point (Blues Doctors w/Robert Ross, 8-9:30 PM)
8/1/15: New York, NY - Groove (International Blues Music Day Festival, Blues Doctors, 6:30 - 7 PM)
On Monday the 27th, we're going to try and busk a median in the NYC subways--one of the big ones, Times Square or Grand Central Station or Penn Station.

We're in Piermont at The Turning Point tomorrow night...Wed. July 29th. 8-9:30 PM. We could use the turnout! Robert Ross will be co-billing; he's going to play "bass" guitar, using an octavizer. Should be fun. Hope to see some of you there.
I rarely ask this of forum members, but if you guys could share this Turning Point gig info on Facebook, that would be a huge help in making this particular midweek gig work. The Blues Doctors' first NYC-area appearance.

Just posted it to FB. It's killing me, but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to manage the logistics to get down there. Is anyone recording it?
