Brandon, I think you're missing the real "For Sale" page.
It can be accessed via a link of the main "BLUES HARP FORUM" page. Underneath Adam's 4 or 5 paragraph introduction, there's a line that says: "If you're searching for the FOR SALE OR TRADE (i.e., gear) FORUM, hit THIS LINK"
That's where you want to post things for sale. Alternatively, here's the address: http://www.modernbluesharmonica.com/for-sale-or-trade.html ---------- Marc Graci YouTube Channel
geeze loweezzee cut the guy some slack it's brandon bailey for crying out loud we all realize there is a specific place to advertise your wares when others do something similar no one complains, nor should they if it is kept to a minimum, it is ok with me. no one complained when greg posted his mic's on the spah thread and there is no reason they should, no one can deny they are a work of art. its called strategic product placement just seeing Brandon's post has inspired me to re-tune my manji in F i will tune it to just intonation like gnarly suggested awhile back
anyone who does not tune their own harps and i would argue it is a good idea to learn this for yourself should consider brandon or gnarly retuning their harmonicas to just intonation it brings the phosphor bronze reeds to life.
My ears are burning . . . Just (or nearer to it) does improve the Suzuki line, IMHO . . . As far as a separate place to post, there is one and I try to use it, and I think that Brandon is trying to do that too. Bring all your harps for sale to SPAH, Friday afternoon there is a swap meet. I plan to bring some stuff. Brandon just graduated from college and is trying to stay alive, I am sure this is a temporary situation.
If someone ask in a thread about custom harmonica, and BB says: Hey, I sell custom harmonicas for $XX, that is OK by me.
Is someone ask for microphones in a thread, and Greg says: Hey, I sell customs mics for $xxx, that is Ok by me.
I dont like that this thread baypass the order in the forum, especialy because there are two places to advertise this kind of things. I have no problem whit BB, but it is true that this is not the place to advertise.
If the moderators says that is OK, is Ok by me, but as a member, we need to contribute to maintain this place the best we can. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.
For clarification, yes, this should be on the for sale page. It's fine to bump the for sale page if it falls off the main page but if we let one person post separate threads and don't let another it puts us in a tight spot, and if we let everyone post for sale posts all over the place the front page gets flooded pretty quick. It becomes an arms race in a hurry, so Brendon, could you please use the for sale thread?
For special occasions we make exceptions if they are cleared ahead of time. If you are releasing a new product line or your new album just dropped just let us know and we'll almost certainly give you clearance. It's one of those rules that makes the site work, and we do get complaints on it when we don't enforce it.
