I'm checking to see if anyone is making anything similar or may have an old sheet they'd sell me. When Hetrick was selling harp stuff, they made these adhesive sheets that were harp-specific and the ideal size for me. I can see the large white letters against my Marine Band combs even in dim lighting. When Hetrick quit the biz they shipped their inventory to Dave Scudamore that ran harpmicgaskets. He told me that indeed he did have some of those letter sheets and would get back to me when he had some pricing. Sadly, Dave passed away from a car accident shortly afterward and I don't know what happened to the inventory. Does anyone have any surplus of these letter sheets that they would be willing to sell? Is there something similar from another supplier? Hopefully the pictures will show up below:

I have some of the Hetrick labels somewhere. Email me your address and I'll send them if I can find them.

Seydel has them, and so does Turboharp. (Turboharp has glow in the dark ones).

Thanks guys. None of the others posted are as bold or provide the contrast that I want although the Seydel ones might work.

Timeistight:
Thanks so much. Emailed my address.

These are sold here on the bottom of this page by Greg Ludlum. I just bought 3 sheets on Friday.

Just wanted to say Thanks out loud to timeistight for hunting down and sending me a sheet of the white Hetrick letters. At the rate I build custom harps (6-10/yr., mostly for myself) these should last me awhile. I'll look into some of the other suggestions as well. This website has proven to be a big help to me in many ways. A lot of people who are generous with their time and in other ways too. Thanks again.

on a side note, what do you guys use to seal the stickers to the harp?

I put a few of the Hetrick stickers on with no seal and they eventually fall off. I bought a harp from Superchucker and noticed there is a little epoxy or something that he painted over the stickers to permanently affix them to the harp. What's the best stuff to use?

I like the ones from Turboharp best. The Seydel labels are smaller and not as easily readable. If they get too warm, though, sometimes they want to come off. I Usually just press them back on firmly and they stay. You might try clear nail polish for sealing.

I go to my local trophy shop, and get labels printed out. They are 1/4" tall, and about 4.5" long. I have the key, then after an inch my name, then at the right hand side the key again. I have brass combs, so I have brass labels with black letters. You can also get black labels with brass or silver letters. The label then wraps around the corner of the comb, so the key label is on the high note side of the harp, and my name and the key label are on the back of the harp.
