Isn't that Sandra Vasques on harp? She's great! This particular song is a bit too bubblegummy for me, but I thought her playing fit it well. Her tone is killer!! I'd give my right arm to be able to play like her! ----------
Great find, Goldbrick. I've just put your video on the Best Harmonica Videos page of this website. The video has a winning combination: not just a great harp solo (recording quality and playing), but great overall sound (try it on headphones), great energy, pretty singers (more long swinging brown hair than I've seen on Planet Earth in a long time), and very nice energy balance between males and females. Just about perfect, I'd say.
It's weird, of course, to hear a bunch of Brazilians singing in English, but that's just me.
Watched the posted vid's and searched out more in the last few days ..those vid's first posted 3 years ago by Todd Parrott .. thread resurrected by JohhnieHarp the other day .. here's the one first posted in 2012 ...
@Philosophy .. no doubt she Can play .. No lip syncing and, a fine job on Mustang Sally .. in the following vid !
Seems there is a 'movement' of female brazilian harp players and interest in the blues ! how cool is that : )
@Adam ,joking you a bit here , got to travel outside the US man .. our music is loved , enjoyed and played world wide , Tibet to Indonesia, Viet Nam to France .. english .. or american as I define it .. is their second or third language : ) in SE Asia where I live there are a multitude of blues bands singing in their second language , and Ya they don't always get the pronunciation right & Ya sometimes it sounds 'weird' .. Where I live .. F's become P's and vice versa , Japanese have a hard time with L's .. the list goes on ... The cool part is they Are into the music !

I love this band(and i am a die hard blues fan) because they are talented, versatile, young, fresh and easy on the eye. They are ,imo, exactly what it takes to bring Blues and the Harp into the modern world . And she can play.
