I propose a Kickstarter campaign to provide funds to Adam so he can widen his wardrobe choices from the two black shirts he claims as his. I think maybe a nice new Navy Blue or Slate Gray.
@Jinx, I could not agree less. Do you reach up your ass for all your ideas? I could give a shit whether I am barred from looking at your drivel. If your only intent is to piss and moan about any aspect you can, Fee-a-zuck U.
@Meaux Jeaux, I could not agree with you more, it's come to the point where I really don't care if I get axed either. I am sick of this "boy's" mouth, and think I may not even bother with this forum anymore. If administration wants to let people hide behind there computer screen and cast insults and stupidity around at other forum members, so be it. No matter where you go you always get one immature person that just can't seem to grow up. Why should this place be any different? One apple has spoiled the the barrel since the beginning of time, just as it will spoil this barrel.
And back to topic- okay, it would be kind of rude, but I'd kind of like a t-shirt with a picture of a harmonica with the words 'You know where to stick it' underneath. It might even get some crossover (no pun intended) appeal to the harmonica hating crowd!
I wanted a t-shirt that had some fake rips in it. Normally a shirt has 4 holes (2 arms, bottom, neck) but if you added 6 fake holes and the message '10 holes, no problems' it would make a nice inside joke.
Or maybe you could do a version of the famous painter painting his thumb painting- a large harmonica with a portrait (in blue) of a famous fairly contemporary blues harp star playing a harmonica in the 3 hole. And that player would be playing harmonica, and in the 3 hole of their harmonica would be a portrait of a slightly earlier blues harp guy, and in the 3 hole of their harmonica would be an old timey harper.
Actually, you know, crowdsourcing might not be a bad way to get t-shirts like this done. I know there are a couple really good artists on the forum. It might be cost prohibitive for one person to commission them to do the art work, but if someone had a good enough idea, got a quote, and then did a kickstarter for it? (Actually, I remember someone tried to do that for a harmonica belt buckle. Don't remember if that worked out). Once you have the art you can use cafepress or whatever to get them printed up.
How many harpers actually know all the positions though? I can play in five, I think. :)
And of course, the problem with having the circle of fifths on the back instead of the front of the t-shirt is we'll still have to your band mates for help!
Not sure. You should put the link in this thread. I think actually the kickstarter type idea actually would be really useful for any shirts that required artwork.
