Trying to determine where to list an item for sale? There's a separate For Sale forum and there's a 2015 For sale post in the regular forum.

You can do both. I think maybe people are putting more in detail posts in the new forum and shorter posts in the For Sale thread, but they are both fair game.

If it's any help, I get way more hits from the For Sale Thread than the separate forum. I stopped using the separate forum.
...I still wish folks would keep their photos to a regular size. It's kind of ridiculous and not user-friendly unless you have a 164-inch screen... The text runs off the right side of the screen for everyone else once that first gigantic photo is posted and shifts the right margin into the next time zone.
(I'm being tongue-in-cheek!)

The site hosts built the separate forum for a reason. I've no idea what prompted that but perhaps they will review the concept as it may need a second look.

Having the separate forum for sale and a thread in the discussion forum makes little sense to me. The problem with the thread is that it slides away from page 1 and eventually gets several pages long, with the current stuff at the end. But for sellers it has the advantage of announcing itself by jumping to top of the list when they post something. The separate forum sits over by itself waiting for someone to go check it out. I'm not surprised the thread generates more hits.

Andrew, or better yet, the site would force the margins. Oh well, it is what it is.

Looks to me like the 2015 thread is bloated with photos of combs. Comb porn seems ridiculous to me. Waste of time scrolling though it.
