Hi folks, I changed the pre-amp tubes to the recommended tubes. Now I'd like to dial in that Chicago crunch sound as best I can. I'm hoping someone can give me a good starting point with all the settings such as bass, treble, presence, middle, master, drive etc. Any help appreciated.

Generally, turn the bass up and the treble down, but it's a lot about your preferences.
Glad to see you figured out posting. Didn't get to a computer where I could sign in until know.

Amps with volume, gain, and master volume are tough to get a tone and volume out of before it squeals like a pig. The gain inherent to guitar amps is always a bug for harpists and with an extra gain and master volume section the problem is magnified in amps that have these. Pete
