I found this "electric harmonica", i can only assume it works like an electric guitar with a direct plugin to an amp. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this harmonica

curious

Harp&Gunman, it uses optical pickups and runs into an effects box. I haven't played with one, but I've got one of their Turboslide harps. The Turboslides use stainless steel reeds (a magnetic grade, I know a lot of stainless isn't magnetic) and a series of magnets connected to a slide button. The magnets change the swing rate of the reeds, and therefore the pitch. The idea is it gives you more available notes, but it also gives you the ability to bend draw chords with ease and get some pretty neat effects. Turboharp is a neat company. They are experimenting with a lot of neat ideas.
