don't know what I touched the other day on the family hike but I played a little harp on the trail and now I've got poison oak on my lip and can't play. LAME!!
:(
maybe bringing a harp EVERYWHERE you go isn't the best idea after all LOL.
Happy New Year MBH!

So I knew this guy who had a bit too much to drink. Closing time came and went, and he ended up going home with this trashy looking harmonica
Yup . . . you know how this goes. A few days later he looked in the mirror . . . and bang . . . that slutty little Hohner and given him harpes.
Ta thump. You've been a great audience. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitresses and bartenders.
Happy New Year, Ya'll (and sorry about the poison oak. Does not sound fun).

Maybe keep alcohol wipes handy? Alcohol is supposed to break down the oils. For a minute I thought I'd injured myself last night. I bit into a bite sized chicken cordon bleu and got molten cheese all over my lips, but it's not tender enough this morning to stop me from playing.
I'm allergic to everything else on the planet but have so far managed to avoid poison ivy/oak/sumac, but maybe it's because I'm OCD about it and wipe down exposed arms and legs with alcohol fairly regularly. I had a friend who didn't have toilet paper and in the dark, grabbed some poison ivy leaves. He was one of those people who get real bad reactions too. Ended up on antibiotics.
Feel better, and happy New Year.
