This was listed in the Seminars but it was a theme that
was in the performances to.
It was great to see chord and bass now
included in acts that had never had them before.

In the seminar I got to have my tune "Matt's Blues a
Twisted Tail" played by 3 Basses, Chord, Harmonetta and
Phil Caltabellotta on chromatic playing improv with me
on melody and improv. This was a world premier.LOL

It's so much fun to hear that stuff. Those bass harps are a bitch to play.

How low are bass harps compared to low tuned harps?

The low E on a bass harmonica is the same Low E as on a bass guitar or string bass, nearly 3 octaves below middle C.

A Low E harmonica by contrast has its lowest note less than an octave (a minor 6th) below Middle C. A double-low F is one octave and a fifth below middle C (less than two octaves).

Other types of bass harmonica include the single-reed G bass, with its lowest note, G, only three semitones higher than the standard bass, and the C-bass (Tombo Contrabass, Swan Senior) two octaves below middle C (same lowest note as a cello or baritone sax).
