I just got through replacing reeds and sorting some other issues in some harps, and used my new "French Tuner" for the first time. Great tool, very glad to have it thanks Andrew. I have a translucent white version, and I lost it a few times...I'm gonna put some coloured tape on it to help it stand out.
Also, the brass reed shaping tool is still my favourite and first choice, and the reed wrench...Its funky and I have other commercial products, but I find I still pick up the one you made most often.
Also must say thanks Mark, first for the referral; I really appreciate it., also for your neat video on replacing reeds with the original rivet. I usually instal new reeds with bolts, but had occasion to use your method tonight. Worked a treat.
I loved that video . That is totally cool and I dig it. 8^)

Of course, the role you both play on this forum is also invaluable.
Kudos to you both, from Dave in Tasmania.

Aloha Dave! Noice!

Saw this yesterday but had little battery life left so here I am today to say you are more than Welcome.

Andrew! Where are you?

That rivet trick is tricky Dave. I suspect you must be very, confident in your work, very good w/ a hammer and pay much attention
to detail.

Cheers, Mark

PS, I use Andrews French tuner for every harp I work on if it requires dis-assembly. Also,it is great for choosing donor reeds for it identifies the key of reed plate if unlabeled.
