Hmm, Never been to Moon Dogs. I'm 50 miles N in New Castle. I heard the joint is small. Not too sure about all that...BN

Seems every blues legend from A to Z has played there - but mostly just hardcore blues fans go to the shows there - its not the best place for lightweights to go :)

BN-That's a Harp King. 6 x 10 I think. Piazza & Estrin also use one. I know that it's a drive for you,but life is short. If you can manage it,you won't be sorry,I guarantee it!

Have seen both Piazza & Estrin there too...It may be more crowd then usual since it is on Sat...but there is always room for one more crazy blues lover - you'd probably love the place Barley and feel right at home - stop by if you able :)

TSK Tsk Frank Next week I'll reach another milestone of sorts in celebrating my 65th birthday. You can sleep anytime,Dennis is only here once in a blue moon. Barley Nectar(Goose) made it for the workshop. I think he stayed for the show, but I lost track of him early on. It was a great workshop and a great show. Might have to take a nap this afternoon, though.:)

It's embarrassing and must admit - old age has made me a light weight... Truth be told "I had my fun if I don't get well no more"
I have gotten to see him perform a few times though so that make me feel a little better :)
On a good note - I was up at 6 AM in the morning and did gardening and yard work for 3 hours... - it was an exceptionally beautiful morning too :)

Wow, I didn't even see this post until now. I was out of town anyway, but it would have been cool to see Dennis and to meet up with you guys... I'm definitely going to go see Shakey Graves when he comes to town next week, and am also considering driving up to see Adam do his Blues Doctor's thing in Sharon, PA on the 26th... It's an hour and a half drive on a weeknight, however, so I'm still a bit on the fence. ----------   YouTube! Soundcloud!

Were is BN...did he throw all his harps in the Blawnox river after witnessing possibly the greatest blues harp player in the world...
Or has he locked himself in his wood shed, determined to emerge a Master Harp Player himself -
forged and poised to unleash a style of music so fresh and bold it will challenge all pro players to rethink how they play this amazingly versatile instrument :)
BN - were art thou?
