I don't understand why the messed with the timing so much. They didn't keep a consistent rhythm and the delay really highlighted that fact and made it seem confused and sloppy. I suspect it was all done that way on purpose by I can't wrap my head around why anybody would want to do it that way.

My first band did a recording of Something in the Way. I liked how it came out except our bass player at the time decided, even though we told him not to, to sing backup. Well, he was closer to the mic... we refer to the recording as the mooing cow take. Unfortunately, one take singing Kurt lyrics pretty much shreds my voice, so it's the only take we have.

This one has a neat creepy sound to it. I like it, but it might have worked better on Polly.

My current band, in an earlier permutation, used to do a cover of Molly's lips with 3 part harmony at the beginning.
