Interesting list of the prices different performers command to perform a show.

I think Kid Rock needs to up that ante a wee bit - shoot, at that price I'm going to hire him for the upcoming weenie roast in my backyard, I have a wad of Salmon P Chases burnin a hole in my pocket :)

These price are misleading. Many of the bottom ones can be gotten for less money for off nites to fill in their schedule.

I would rather spend the money locally and hear musicians that are just as good and in most cases way
better.

BB King is the ONLY bluesman that can command that kind of money and the closest to him at this point is maybe Buddy Guy and nobody else is anywhere near the ballpark.

You can slam me all you want but John Popper is a rock player and not a blues player.

What do you think the bluesmen like Estrin,Piazza,Hummel,Gruenling etc. are fetching? I'm guessing around $1500 more or less for clubs/bars. Festivals might pay more. There's not a whole lot of correlation between talent and price on that top tier.
