One evening back in late 2010 I was surfing the web on various harmonica sites and I'd consumed a bottle of wine.
I ended up on Harrison Harmonicas website and impulse ordered a Radical-B harmonica in A which I paid up front for to the tune of 180.00 plus shipping.
We all know what happened to Harrison Harmonicas, don't we.

I stick to Hohner Special 20's, just like em and will keep buying them whenever I need a new one in whatever key.

Live and learn. :)

Don't buy a whole new harp, just buy the reed plates.

Only do that if you can operate a screwdriver properly.

Is this a natural occurrence or do you need a tool to do this?

i am surprised no one is jumping on this offer
with as much talk about how well liked this model is.
at this price i almost pulled the trigger myself!
until i picked up my seydel, just not necessary.

i walked you all through the process
with the crossover, on how to get different keys
at the discounted price.

1847, the price seems to very a lot by key. If they had all the keys at that price I might jump, but I've got scads of C harps.

What gets me sometimes, is how little a discount there is when you buy a bunch of harps together (unless they are junk harps). If the C harper isn't just a loss leader, if they can sell a harp for $25 to get people to jump, how about a set of 12 for $300 (or if they could get it down to $250, wow.) I guess, figuring harp players might want more keys they don't want to cannibalize their own sales, but I suspect that with a good discount more harp players might upgrade a whole set at once.

"99% of the PROS use Hohner and the 1% that don't - secretly do when their promotional people aren't looking :)"

-- what a silly and baseless overgeneralization. Probably meant as a joke.

How important is the truth in comedy... Can a joke that's 1% truth and 99% contrived be funny? Is there some truth in the invented statistic? Did the 1 liner ("99% of the PROS use Hohner and the 1% that don't - secretly do when their promotional people aren't looking) make you laugh or gag...A notion of truth can make some people laugh - whether it's a joke is up to the your sense of humor :)

Today's comic is not doing an act. The audience assumes he's telling the truth. Lenny Bruce

We still have the greatest legal system in the world, thank God :)
