My first tube amp bought for 99 bucks in the early 90's...Still own it and use almost daily :)
Edit...I bought the amp in the used musical instruments room of a local small town music store and mistakenly said in the OP it was a pawn shop.
Please show your "no names" amps...

I connected it to another old speaker here...

here is the label

here's the ole speaker i have it connected to.

here is what it sounds like from a few years back, I'm standing in front of it to hear it better :)
here is that combo again

Fantastic playing--great tone-=its very time consuming and difficult to learn and memorize songs but i believe it makes a better player out of u, when u learn original first. -and do it smoothly as u have done. i dissected different songs in the past with different players -- after getting pretty close i started to add my own twists--but always bearing in mind the original==is the second song /chiken shack/--i put rod piazzas version in 'slowdowner' etc and learned a lot note for note -then got busy with life and forgot about it---gonna dig up rods chicken shack and go to work ---u got me fired up---TOP NOTCH playing man --very smooth-- what were the backing tracks were did u get them thanks man u got me inspired

My first amp was something like this. I spliced a dynamic tape recorder mic into a combination radio/78rpm cabinet.

@Frank
To me, that Jackson Guldan amp looks like it could be an early Lectrolab build. Just kind of has the layout and markings of one. Kinda curious....I've never read anything about Jackson Guldan ever building any kind of electric instruments. Just fiddles and acoustic guitars.
@Barley
What the hell is that flip-top phono job?! ----------

The key piece of information that I noticed is that it was made by Western Electric. Old timers like me will remember but you younger guys may not realize that up until about 1981 you could not own a telephone. That’s right. You actually rented phones from the phone company but you didn’t own them. Then in about 1980 the phone company started offering the opportunity to buy telephones. If you wanted to buy one they just added $10/month to your phone bill until they were paid off. They cost about $50 each back then. When they first became available I bought two Princess Phones. That was 34 years ago. I still use them today. They are solid as a rock. And they were built by Western Electric. ---------- Tom Halchak www.BlueMoonHarmonicas.com

LOL! Tom, those Princesses are the ones I hunt for (along with the 500's and other Dreyfuss designs) to cannibalize for their earpieces to use as mic elements. Haven't found one in a while now....but then I haven't really been looking either. ----------
