I am finding the need to play some bass in a band I am in. I dont want to carry too much crap as I already play harp, percussion and slide guitar.
I can get a decent slide guitar tone thru a bass amp with a ac 30 emulation pedal. I can also mic my bongos thru that amp. Anybody have experience using a swr working man type amp with harp attack or harp break?

Not with a lonewolf pedal...but I have blown through a WorkingPro 700 and a Super Redhead for shits & giggles. The 700 was just ridiculously too strong, but the Redhead surprisingly delivered some pretty decent tone.
Tell you what Goldbrick, my band's bass player plays through a 500W Hartke. And I have an ART Tube MP preamp. I can give it a try and at least give you a rough idea as to what you could expect... ----------

Yep same as Garry, when i had a Vox 30 modelling amp i used the AC33 set up. That's an amp i regret selling.

Thanks guys.-- not bad with the AC 30 pedal with the highs down.
I do have an Art tube box that I use for vocals--I gotta find it and try it

I think I get the best results using HarpAttack into solidstate amps. It depends on amp model. I think 2x10 or 4x10 will be much better than 1x15. I think it will work ok. ---------- Excuse my bad English.
