OK, I've just ordered a VHT Special 12/20 RT head and I'm wondering which speaker would be the go. I'm thinking 10 or 12 inch. Any thoughts?

You could try to find an Epiphone Valve Jr. extension cab that will have a 12" Lady Luck in it. Most folks think that they are good for harp and I saw one recently at a G. C. for $99.

Hondo makes a good point.

Are you just looking to pair it with a single speaker cab, or have you considered a dual speaker one?

Dual would probably be the go come to think of it. Do you think a couple of 10's would be best?
Not so easy getting things here in Australia though.

Well...only reason I asked, BarleyNectar here on the forum recently wrote about using a 2X10 configuration with a hot-rodded Princeton Reverb he has. He wound up using an Eminence Ragin Cajun and and Eminence Copperhead. He said it sounded awesome. Just considering the similarities between the 12/20RT and the PR (even in its rodded state), that combination might be a winner for you too.

Thanks Hawkeye, I do like Eminence gear so I might consider what you suggest.

Just come across a Vox Night train cabinet with 2 x 12" Plessey speakers. Anyone have any ideas on this setup?

Not sure that a 2X12 would deliver as good of tone with the VHT as a 2X10 or 1X12 would. IMHO, smaller is better in multi-speaker configurations. I will say I'm not familiar with Plessey's though, so that may fly in the face of my statement. But on the whole, Vox is more focused on brighter tone, whereas harp players usually seek deeper, fatter tone.
