I am pretty well sold on the Eminence Ragin Cajun for harp, as one of the speakers in a two speaker cab. The Cajun is strong and phat. What 10" Eminence speaker will complement the RC to give more cut and grit? Thanks...BN

Copperhead or Ramrod look like they might fit the bill. Lil Buddy would take you in the other direction most likely.

Eminence Legend 1028K alnico. I like that speaker a lot when it is paired with the Lil Buddy ceramic speaker in a Mission 2x10 amp.

Hawkeye, Do you have first hand experience with either of those two speakers? If so, what is your tone evaluation of either?

Ramrod, no. Not with harp anyway. But I blew through a Pro Junior loaded with a Copperhead and a 5751 a few weeks ago. Much more efficient speaker than the stock one. It really cut nicely on the highs and mids, but still had enough low end for a tasty harp tone on its own.

Rick's probably on a better track with the Legend alnico though. Every amp I've heard with those in it has really good cut, especially a VHT Sp6 I heard a guy blowing through at a local jam. Only reason I didn't suggest it was that I was under the assumption you might wanna stick to ceramic, but if that doesn't bother you...

Cool Thanks Hawkeye, I was just on Eminence site. The 102 is dirty according to the sound clips. The 105 sounded the same to me. I'll check that Copperhead next. I do prefer ceramic but that doesn't really mean anything. Ceramics seem puncher and cleaner to me which my not apply with the Cajun in the mix...BN

Another option for cleaner and punchy would be a Peavey Blue Marvel Delta Blues 1020. They're Eminence made, and have a reputation for reliability and drive. I've played through a pair of these in a Delta Blues 210 before. Cut on it was wonderful.
