Andrew sent me one of his "dark combs" for a MS BLUES HARP .
This comb is very flat and very well made .The bends are easier .It really upgrades your harp...for 15$ .In France , we say : "c'est donné" !

I just received a comb for an older Seydel Blues Solist. He did it for me based on a scan of the original comb at no additional charge. It is really nice, and doing business with Andrew is very enjoyable.

I got several combs from Andrew: a pair for M.B. 364, and a few for 1896.
They rock!
I prefer nailed together custom M.B.s but not all of my clients do, and yes at least for the player the comb material changes the tone somewhat.....well these combs help make a fine sounding and playing harp, using god forgive me...(head hung low) screws.

Wow! Thanks for the kind words!

I'm very proud of my combs. I don't offer a million colors. I just put a lot of effort into each comb to make sure it performs best.

I got one of Andrew's combs several days ago, too. It is absolutely flat, and the "teeth" are glossy smooth with nicely rounded corners, while the other surfaces have a nice mat finish. I will be ordering some more soon. I'm also enjoying the addition of his tool kit to my collection, and especially the French Tuner.

yes I love the combs Andrew has put on older marine bands that I have sent to him....they seem to be very durable and will probably be there for the life of the harp

I've just received 4 of Andrew's finest for my GM's. I have to agree with everything that has been said. Excellent quality and very very reasonable prices.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I'll pile onto the bandwagon and chirp the praises of Andrew's combs.

Satisfied customer.

Yep...sent Andrew a pile of not too playable old harps for reconstitution and they all came back re-tuned,re-combed(where necessary)generally overhauled, and better than when they were new! Very economical way to re-stock the harp supply!

I'll throw my hat into the ring. Got a few of Andrew's maple wood combs for my GMs when he was still making them. They're pretty awesome. They definitely added to the playability of my harps. I liked Andrew's service and other combs so much that I went with 2 of his dark combs. So far I have one of them in action in my Bb GM and it works like a treat!
