Hey guys,
Not sure if any of you remember me but I solicited harp solos on a song called Gabriel about 6 months ago. I was wondering if any of you would like to have a go contributing a solo to a song I’m currently working on titled Tell it to the Moon. A copy of the song can be accessed/downloaded at the following link:(cut and paste)
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=849553&songID=12642569
Like Gabriel this song will also appear on the next Loud Gas and Electric CD. I will give full attribution and a hard-copy of the CD to the person who’s solo I choose.
At minimum the song needs a solo beginning at the 2:02 mark. Of course solos over the intro, outro and accents/noodles in the later verses/chorus etc… are encouraged.
I will post fully mixed versions of all contributions to this thread and CD quality downloads to each contributor.
If you’re interested in please send files or file-download links (e.g. Mediafire) to loudgasandelectric@gmail.com.
I hope to hear from some of you soon!
All the best!
Doug

I remember. You don't happen to remember the username you used on that one? We could link to the old thread.

Thanks cyclodan! I could not, for the life of me, remember the screen name I used last time and could not find the old thread.
You guys gonna have a go?

If you check your inbox you should have a few attempts from me, if technology hasn´t failed. They range from bad to worse -- but this one was a toughie and I sort of got stuck on a few basic clichés, and couldn´t shed them. (
Hope some of the other guys come up with fresher stuff.
Cheers, Martin

Pistolcat, How's it going mang? Fire when ready!
Martin, Good to hear from you! I just checked my email and the in box is empty. I think the internets are messin with us!
I can post up a version without the lead intro and outro if that will be any help to you guys. I'm open to using harp on intro, middle lead and outro if they fit the song. I consider the current intro and outro guitar leads place-holders until I can find the right sound.

That sounds somewhat disturbing, Doug. I´ve sent you four or five solos w/ accompanying letters ...?
Could I be in the trash box?

OK now I see: your first letter appears to be from loudgasandelectric@yahoo.com and above you say @gmail.com.
Weird, ´cause I just clicked "reply" and answered your first letter when it arrived, a week or so ago. I´ll re-send my stuff.

I went back and checked..... and sure enough the return email address was a yayhoo address. Not sure how that happened when I sent it from the gmail account. Either way the misque is on me!
I pulled your emails from yahoo and will check them out tonight.
Sorry for the confusion!

OK -- I was bewildered since I didn´t get any bounce messages. Then just skip my last letter from another of my addresses -- that was only a repeat.
