It has been a while since I've looked into a dedicated octave down unit. Nothing beats the POG stuff AFAIK regarding tracking of chords, however, new stuff comes out all the time.

I've mostly fudged an octave down with a Line 6 M series or Zoom unit, which has been ok, but am thinking of getting something synthy like the Micro POG. Basically, I wanted something that tracked vocals for looping too, and the MP had a slight delay that wouldn't work.

Thoughts? The Digitech stuff seems to work well, right?

Just went looking for you (and I also would like to go polyphonic) I came up with this. Morpheus bomber $279 -morpheus drop tune-morpheus Capo pedal...all three proprietary polyphonic...claims to handle complex guitar chords...I read reviews ...go to guitar center or musicians' friend to check it out....

As I recall, the octaver on the Digitech RP units wasn't polyphonic.
