I think it's weird that I made reference to this song in the pentatonic thread after you recorded this (gauging by your watch--La Jolla time) and before you posted it (to here anyway).
Pretty raging . . .

is it supposed to be an improvement on the original? what is your intention?

Jinx, just say don't like this version . You're sounding pretty testy for no good reason.

JInx, if the music is too loud, you are too old! :)

Great playing Ted....you make it look effortless.
I,d struggle to get two notes in where you can fit about six.
@Frank....you should be the next Dalai Lama..ha.

I just like his playing through the whole thing. He's just going for the gusto and letting things rip. There might be a few errors, but who cares, he's having fun and playing great.

Great word!
"Gusto" = enjoyment or vigor in doing something; zest, style of artistic execution. :)

Ted - Daaamn ! I was expecting a Rbt Johnson thang. Instead I'm listening to you run Clapton's solo notes thru your harp and from the volume /distortion , I was feeling quite psychedelisized. How you can do that and make it look so effortless stuns me You are the rockinest baby boomer ever. Seriously.

I like it! That playing thru the whole song remainds of this version... Legendary rock group in my country recorded this crossroads version like instrumental, with one of my teachers, Pera Joe, great harmonica player

Hot stuff!! And played with the same nonchalance that Clapton executed his solos! I kind of feel you should be throwing your whole body around to demonstrate just how demanding that solo-ing is and not look like you could happily read a newspaper while all hell is letting loose ;)
