Many thanks Rick & Frank. It's a very heartening accolade here in our fair city. I feel very honored and privileged to be in a band that has such talented musicians. I'm one lucky son of a bitch.

Best Local Blues Band or Artist was the category. This was the second year in a row we got voted the award in that category, and it's something of an oddity because we don't really classify ourselves as a blues band. Blues rock might be more accurate, but I tend to think of us as a rock band that happens to play a fair amount of blues in our repertoire, and plays a great deal of rock that's rooted in blues.
