Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been playing harmonica for about 4 months. I am a banjo player who has dabbled with other instruments thru the years but none have grabbed my interest like the harmonica. I play most days and play a lot while driving to and from work. I currently have a Marine Band in C and Two Blues Harps in C and D. Ive been mostly playing in 2nd position, playing songs like When the saints go marching in and I'll fly away. A friend of mine told me about Darrel Mansfield ( I think that's his name) doing People get ready. Ive been hooked ever since. Cant wait till I can jam with it.

Welcome

Are you looking to do some bluegrass or country style blues with the harmonica and banjo? There are some great pre-war country blues songs out there. My guitar buddy and I have been playing mostly post-war blues, however we would like to venture into the pre-war stuff if we can pick it up. My son plays fiddle, but needs some more years of practice before I would consider bringing him on.
Have fun on the site. Lot of great learning videos and knowledgable guys here to help you out.
