Got one, almost never use it; sounds great, but why be limited to the bottom of the harp? -- unless you had some particular reason, like space constraints or some kind of trick of hiding the harp somewhere (pocket, mouth).

I have 2: Been using the "C" for over 5 years. Took off the lanyard and attached a carbineer clip for my belt loop. Goes with me everywhere I go. Yesterday I received my "A" from Greg Jones; (By the Way Greg does great repair work) He changed the plastic comb for a wood comb, which I prefer. Now I have a 6 shooter on each Hip. No down time in practice. ---------- ---------- And I Thank You !! KCz Backwoodz Bluz

I've got C,D ,F G and A Love them, nice and easy to cup with a mike. I like to use the F and D especially because i never venture up to the top end anyway on those. Half price? Where i get them from they are 62$ I'll have to shop around.

I just got a folk one in C on the weekend but have not opened it yet. Still debating whether to use it myself or let the 4-year old have it, I thought the smaller size might be interesting for him.
He's got one of those Hohner transparent colored plastic CP diatonics but now he "wants harmonica like daddy" , none of that kid stuff!
I don't want to play it and give it to him though, not recommended to mix adult mouth germs for kids.

I'm big fan of high keyed Big Six, currently have three of them. Big Six have different reed lenhgts. Like slots 3-8 of regular 1847. That means that we get short slotted D and F. I really prefer their responce over regular 1847 in F and D. I also have very fun Big Six in HighC and have a dream to get a full set of D, Eb, E, F, F#, HiG, HiAb, HiA, HiBb, HiB and HiC. Unfortunately Eb, E, F# and higher aren't available as stock, only by configurator and a bit pricey, but anyway I want them and I'll get them. ---------- Excuse my bad English.

Boris: Thanks for the update and info: I only occasionally "Gig" with the Big Six: But if response is better in holes 3-6 (in the higher harps) then I might want to try the "D" harp, even for playing with a band. ---------- And I Thank You !! KCz Backwoodz Bluz

Boris, I once had a mini-harp dream too! Mine was more for the novelty of it though. I wanted a complete set of Hohner Pucks. Since they only come in C and G that's a lot of retuning though!
