So, in the process of updating to our pretty new favicon, I was on a page that previews any images you are uploading, and the preview, in addition to the showing the picture preview, shared this text (in latin)

Ha ha! It's just latin gobbledegook to fill a gap where text may be. Sometimes when you have a window or self sizing text window which can change size according to what device is being used, you can fill it with text so the window or text box doesn't shrink. It's done to show what the page would look like if text was used.

Lol. I suspected it was some sort of place filler, but when I Googled it the text was too long for Google to give me a result.
"The lorem ipsum text is typically a mangled section of De finibus bonorum et malorum, a 1st-century BC Latin text by Cicero, with words altered, added, and removed that make it nonsensical and not proper Latin.[1]"
Altered, no doubt, because copyright law keeps extending the copyright length and Cicero's estate was threatening to sue! I'm surprised I never ran across that in my journalism classes. We did some layout work.
It's interesting, back when I was learning to proofread things, one of the tricks, particularly for you own stuff, was to read it backwards. It was particularly useful for spotting typos and misspellings, since you didn't get absorbed into what you THOUGHT it said. (Oh, now I feel old, a whole generation has come of age with spellcheck!)
And then, you have the crazy things that happen when translate something over and over...
