Yes, folks. Nacoran has been discreet in another thread about who has been having access problems vis a vis this forum and this website.
I'm the victim. Earlier this week I started a thread about a thorium powered car and in that thread I used a vernacular word that might be translated for children as "bad posterior". Hardly a four-letter word, nothing like a dangerous expletive. I would have thought it was SFW (safe for work).
Apparently it freaked out the spam filter, which instantly melted my post into the ionisphere. Since I've never had a post spam-filtered, here or anywhere, I tried to repost. Same thing happened. So I did it again. Three times in rapid succession.
Either than or soon after, I discovered that the MBH site had gone down. So had the other two sites for which I pay Macwebsitebuilder.com a monthly fee: bluesharmonicatabs.com and hillcountryharmonica.com
At work, later that day, I discovered to my relief that MBH had come back on line. But later, back at home, I found that once again the site had gone down. I got an email from an MBH member telling me that he, too, had found the site down. (He was a UK member.)
The problem disappeared the following day when I accessed the site from my office, but reappeared that evening when I was back at home. I also noticed that my sales of videos and tabs had been down for a few days. Obviously it doesn't make sense to use AdWords to drive traffic to the site, as I do, if the link you click on from the ad won't get the site to load!
The web-savvy among you have of course figured out by now what the problem was. It took me a while to put the pieces together. I asked my wife to access the site at home on her iPad. She couldn't do it. She was using the same wireless router I use. Then I asked her--standing in exactly the same spot in our kitchen--to use her iPhone and a 4G network to access it. Of course she had no trouble proving that the site was working.
When my post featuring the word "baddonkey"(that's a euphemism I made up just now, but I suddenly understand where the word "badonkadonk comes from!) was spam-filtered, I thought nothing of it at the time. But I suddenly realized what had happened. Even though I'm the webmaster of this site, Websitedynamics had decided that my three rapid spam-filtered posts made me a.....spammer. And they blacklisted me.
I am sitting in my office now. I have had no access to this forum, or website, at home for the past four days. I am about to send an urgent request to the helpdesk that my IP address be whitelisted, but until then.....I'm persona non grata..........

That's like being locked out of your house without our keys. Should you break in or call a locksmith? I'm sure if we took a vote, we can let you back in.lol

"**Victim**"?! I daresay you mean "perp," you foul-mouthed purveyor of potency and hair-renewal nostrums! We see your evil plan to impersonate the noble and gracious Adam Gussow and then sell us on asian brides and phony anabolic steroids! Go get him, Nate! Cancel his account now!

Could be educational for you. I was blacklisted for a month. Nacoran tried to help and the web gurus apologized and whitelisted me, but I still couldn´t access. Actually, I got quite pissed off. End the end they told me, "Sorry we (in-correctly) blacklisted you, but we can´t do anything about it. You´ll just have to accept that.") A computing friend helped me, otherwise I´d still be excluded.

I'm fine now. All it took was a week of emails and phone calls and then my ISP, BellSouth, changed my IP address from a fixed IP address to a dynamic IP address. Bingo! I'm back.
