Hi guys (and gals). I'm new to the forum, but have been playing harp for around 48 years, since I was about 14. Yep, do the math, I'm 61. Harp has always been a "second" to guitar or bass, but I love playing. I'm currently the bass player in The Maltose Falcons Brews Band, which is an offshoot of the award-winning Maltose Falcons Home Brewing Society. I usually play only one or two harp songs per gig. I have a late 1970's Astatic JT30 which I intend to plug into a Behringer GDI21 (on order) that I'll plug straight into the board. We actually run EVERYTHING into the board at most gigs, including ALL instruments (electronic drums) and therefore use no amps. I used to have an ORIGINAL Shure Green Bullet that began life as a fire station paging mic, but had to let it go during a rough spot to raise rent money. I use Lee Oskar harps.
