I just receined my first MBD A maj. Corian comb - MBXO C maj, stock. Bought from Blue Moon. Have been playing Lee Oskars forever. First off, these suckers are LOUD. They both play nicely especially on top. Blow bends are way easy. The opened up covers are somewhat uncomfortable but I'll probably get used to that. Lots of cut, the extra volume means they should hold up better because you can play them eaiser to get the same levels out of the amp.

So, can I get replacement reed plates from Hohner for these? If so, where? Thanks...BN

You can call Hohner direct or Rockin Ron carries them. I am not sure the pricing off the top of my head. Your best bet is to have someone just fix them for you.

Rockin' Ron. :-) It'll be about $48 a set. Ditto what groyster said.
