I saw this for sale on ebay today. This vendor always has interesting converted PA amps for sale. Anyone familar with this vendor or the Bogan CH 33 amp? Thanks.

I bought an amp form him. I don't recommend his builds. He was a good seller though. He seems to know enough electronics but don't think he really knows enough to put out very good quality builds.
Did you use his amp for harp or guitar? Unless he's savvy about what makes for a good harp amp and decided to go that route, he probably tweaked it with some method that's more guitar friendly. There's a running thread on TGP about old PA head conversions right now with some nice metal displayed. Skip's name has come up several times on it. ----------
I picked up the amp from him for guitar and because I like PA heads. I've have had about 15 over the years. The best sounding (to me) have been the non-modified ones. There are tons of threads all over the web about converting them. And a lot of hype and BS...
I have set a few up for harp. I have 3,4 more that are stock and need work. My Favorite is a '52 Knight PA/phonograph modded to a 5C5 Pro circuit. Still using the origional GE 12's. I gigged it for a year w no problems. .http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/allied_rad_knight_93_670.html
