Just completed this mic for a customer. He also has this Blues Foundation logo tattooed on his arm....

Sorry for the shameless post but I just think it is so cool, and proud of myself for being able to pull it off!

Greg...your craftsmanship never ceases to amaze me.
And as to the question mark in your topic subject....I think this one may very well be your masterpiece to date. ----------

Very nice, but my favorite custom Heumann mics are the ones you made for my sons from ancient cherry that was from a mantle that came out of their great grandparents farmhouse in Floyds Knobs Indiana. Can't get any more ironically funky than that. Keep up the good work!

I knew it was either a guitar player with a rack or the Chinese symbol for Happy Heumann!

And they sound as great as they look...Which is a bonus in a world that often seeks profits based on superficiality... Mostly - the consumer does get what they paid for and Greg gives the consumer their moneys worth, and we know the guts of the mic is where the rubber hits the road.
The combination of his custom shells mated with an outstanding element is a match made in heaven. I own one of his mics and I am very pleased with my purchase...
I suppose someday someone will start making knock offs (made in china etc.) of his mics, that will cost half as much and of course be half quality inside and out.
