Just a heads up that this Monday Sept. 9 @ Moondog's Pub is "A Tribute to Little Walter" harmonica blowout with Mark Hummel,Billy Boy Arnold and Sugar Ray Norcia backed on guitars by Little Charlie Baty and Anson Funderburgh.
Be there or be square.

Frank-It's been remodeled, too! Moondog said that if he doesn't get a crowd,he going to make it a metal band club. We need to support live blues venues.

I stopped going because of the smoke and volume levels there ( i've turned into a big P. in my old age) - though I am going tonight to see Billy Boy :)

See you there Tuck...I emailed a few buds and my one buddy is in the hospital that would've loved this show! My wife could care less about the show....Wonder if Isaac is in town?

I sent an email to Isaac.
He got it at the last minute and said he was going to try to make it.

Sorry guys... I wanted to make it, but I had a deadline and had to stay late in the office... By the time I was done, there was no way to make it over there in time! Was it a good show?

I'm an ex-Burger, headed back for a visit in October. Where's the blues scene these days in the steel city?

A440- Moondog's is still a blues venue. Excuses on the South Side has blues on Sat & Sun. Those are the steady ones, the rest are hit or miss.

W. Pa.Blues Society has a calender of blues events on their website: http://www.bswpa.org/cms/
